Membership Directories

As far as I am aware no membership list for PSA was published until after the first Constitution of the Association which was adopted in 1947.  A membership list was published in Volume 15 Number 4 (1948) of Philosophy of Science. As this was fourteen years after the creation of the Association it is not helpful in establishing the earliest membership, but does tell us about the membership when Churchman took over as editor. After the adoption of a new constitution and by-laws in 1957 membership directories  started appearing regularly in Philosophy of Science starting with Volume 26 Number 1(1958). The last of these membership directories printed in Philosophy of Science in Volume 42 Number 1(1975).  After that they started to appear as a separate publication.  Those separate publications are available below. After 1996 the directory converted to a digital format.
